Port Jervis soap box derby
Think you’ve got what it takes to race? Our Soap Box Derby is open to all aspiring racers, ages 7-20, offering four divisions: Stock, Super Stock, Masters, and Super Kids. Whether you’re a first-time driver or a seasoned pro, there’s a spot for you on the track!
Important Dates:
- April 1: Registration Deadline
- Sunday, April 26: Mandatory Driver Meeting: 2pm at Riverside Park
- Sunday, May 17: Driver Practice 10am – 2pm
- Rain Date Sunday, June 7
- Saturday, June 13 : Practice & Car Impound
- Driver Practice: 1pm-4pm
- Car Impound: 11am-1pm & 4pm-5pm
- Sunday, June 14 RACE DAY!
- Rain Date: TBD
Super Kids Division
We provide safe, specially designed tandem Soap Box Derby cars, giving children with disabilities the opportunity to experience the thrill of racing.
There is no race fee for our Super Kids Division.
